About G. F. ("Gerry") Gallagher
Gerry is a versatile actor, skilled writer, and talented voice artist
 who endeavors to bring stories of all kinds to life.

With a blend of creativity and curiosity, he has contributed to a variety of projects including theater, film and audio productions. His journey into the arts is driven by an abiding desire to connect with audiences on a deep, personal level and to inspire through the many forms of storytelling.

Whether it's interpreting characters on stage or screen, or crafting compelling narratives in both fiction and non-fiction work, each project is approached with passion
and an enduring sense of respect for the possibilities inherent in each.

Voice Work
Narration and Voiceover work includes indie film dialog/enhancement and audiobook projects through Audio Book Network and others. Projects can be handled on location or via our on-site sound and recording booth.
Writing
Gerry is a writer based in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.  Non-fiction articles have appeared in print and on-line in Architecture Minnesota, Mississippi Valley Traveler, CollegeLax and Minnesota Palate.  He has won an award for essay from the Catholic Spirit and was a feature writer and columnist for the college lacrosse magazine, MCLA, the Lax Mag.

Current efforts in fiction include a work of youth fantasy, a novel-in-progress, some short screenplays as well as random other bits of literary fiction. His short play, LinkdOut, was a recent selection for the Off-Page Play and Film Festival in the greater Philadelphia area.

Acting
Gerry has been active on stage in numerous productions in the Chicago area, including Arsenic and Old Lace and Glengarry Glen Ross (Village Theatre Guild, Glen Ellyn, IL), A Christmas Carol - A Radio Play (The Home Creative Company, Elgin, IL), Inherit the Wind (The Theatre Lab, Arlington Heights, IL), and It's Only A Play (Riverfront Playhouse, Aurora, IL).  He has also directed short plays as part of the GreenMan Theatre Troupe's 8 to the Bar Festival (Elmhurst, IL).

On camera he has been featured in a number of web commercials as well as the independent short films Cinematically Richer, Dig, 15 Lines, Terms of Endearment (student film) and in the forthcoming web series, Time Hole.

GreenMan Theatre Troupe is pleased to be partnering again with the Elmhurst History Museum in their presentation of Cemetery Walk. Learn about the history of Elmhurst through the unique perspectives of past residents during this all-ages cemetery walk. Been on the tour before? Experience new characters for the 2025 season! This tour will take place at the Churchville School location!

Documentary Short #1
I can't divulge too much about what it is that's in development right now, but we are in "pre- pre-production" for an exciting, proof-of-concept, non-fiction short work.  If all goes as planned, shooting will begin in early 2026.
